CANOE RENTALS

Tippecanoe has been renting canoes to Alaskans and visitors in the Mat-Su valley since 1986.

  We pride ourselves in being a small business that does its best to make paddling safe, easy and affordable.

Tippecanoe has canoes placed throughout the Nancy Lake State Recreation Area.

Whether you are interested in watching wildlife or fishing, a family outing or peace and quiet, we can point you in the right direction.

Our office building is located near the boat launch at the South Rolly Campground within the body of the Nancy Lake State Recreation Area.  It is best to contact us before going directly to our office as it may be unmanned.

Turn at mile 67.3 of the George Parks Highway onto the Nancy Lake Parkway (look for S. Rolly Campground sign on the highway). Drive 6.5 miles to the end of the road and turn left into the campground.  Follow the main campground road and turn left at the boat launch area (first left that isn’t a campsite) where our building is located.  

After the ice is off the lakes in the Nancy Lake Area (Usually around May 15th)

we are open 7 days/week; however, our office hours vary and a phone call is recommended before heading our way.
